Join us for a fun day of stories, a creative writing workshop and creating a fun, collaborative and easy collective story that encourages connection, overstanding, fun and cultural cohesion. \n//Kabbo Hue Ferdinand Qua is a South Afrikan, artivist storyteller, ceremonial drummer, Angolero capoeirista, poet, writer, well-being practitioner, Afrikan mask maker, and Cultural Ambassador. Currently based in St Pauls, Bristol, he was earthed on the Cape Flats in Bonteheuwel, South Afrika and is of Indigenous Goringhaíçona, Caribbean Barbadian, Cape Malay and Huguenot heritage\nHis intention with his cultural initiatives is to revive and explore the relevance of culture within the masala mixed melting pot that is Bristol. Trusting that arts and culture can impact upon the psyche of individuals, communities and generations in an evolutionary manner that is of benefit to individuals, communities and thus society as a whole.\nAs a well-known artivist in the local arts and cultural scene, //Kabbo has collaborated with a multitude of cultural institutions. His work continues to evolve and impact, through the process of organising, participating in and initiating various projects. in the preparation and creation of a transformative, creativity filled, collaborative and evolutionary future.\nNote: The ‘//’ symbol is used to denote the ‘click’ sound used in the pronunciation of his name.\n
